Lansing NAWIC Chapter Kicks Off 50th Anniversary and Recognizes Women In Construction Week 20213/7/2021 LANSING, Michigan March 3, 2021 -- The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Lansing Chapter #177 will recognize Women in Construction (WIC) Week March 7-13, 2021. The focus of WIC Week is to highlight women as a visible component of the construction industry.
"Enhancing the success of women in the construction industry is the core purpose of NAWIC," said Lansing NAWIC President Barb Strachan. "WIC Week will recognize the advancements of women in the construction industry and increase awareness of viable career choices for women interested in construction." Lansing NAWIC also kicks off the chapter’s 50th-anniversary during WIC Week and the chapter will be spotlighting its members and partners throughout 2021.
